During March, Buenos Aires external sales grew 16.1% with respect to the same month of the previous year, reaching 1,781 million dollars. The main item that exported the province of Buenos Aires was that of industrial manufactures. In March sales to Brazil, the main destination, increased by 27.6%, in year-on-year terms, increasing the Provinces share in imports from that country from 3.8% in March 2017 to 4.5% in March 2018 . The first quarter of 2018 is the highest level of exports from Buenos Aires in the last 4 years with 4,779 million dollars, registering an annual growth of 13.9%, the highest since 2012. The industrial profile of the Buenos Aires exports is manifested in the participation of 47.4% that the Province has in the value of the manufactures of industrial origin (MOI) of Argentina. The latter concentrated 44.2% of total Buenos Aires external sales, registering a year-on-year increase of 16.5%, Next in importance, within the value of provincial exports, manufactures of agricultural origin (MOA) with a participation of 24.9%, Primary Products, with 23.6%, and Fuels and Energy, with 7.3 %; with interannual variations of 1.0%, 17.6% and 42.9% respectively.
